Summary: If you had the power to change the world, would you? And if so, just how much would you change it? More importantly, say there's a group of you in the same room. How can you guess which one has that power? And even so, who's to say more than one of you don't have it?

History: One day in a facility, several people are tested for their endurance in a number of tests. The results come in, and there is hint of one of them bearing not only extraordinary endurance, but extraordinary intelligence. Unfortunately, that someone begins to pick off the test subjects one by one, leaving one clue: the name Adam Hart.

Final Fate: It turns out a guy named Arthur Nordlund is responsible for the murders. Why? Because he's been looking for the SECOND genius! And that genius turns out to be the earnest and mild-mannered Dr. Jim Tanner. Now tapping into his powers, Tanner ends the madness by stopping Hart's heart (Ha!), killing him.

Powers/Abilities: Those with the power can use telekinesis and cause one to suffer hyper-realistic delusions and visions only limited by the genius' imagination.

Weakness: Anything conventional, but especially another with the power.

Scariness Factor: 4.5-The man under the moniker Adam Hart went undetected for so long. And judging by his near-fatal treatment of Tanner, the deaths of his victims were decidedly NOT pretty. Thank God there was another to use that power wisely for a change.

Trivia: -This film was directed by Byron Haskin, who previously did 1953's "War of the Worlds".

-Arthur Nordlund was played by Michael Rennie, who played Klaatu in "The Day the Earth Stood Still".
